Alerts and reports

Troubleshoot missing app review alerts

Most missing-alert problems come from one of four places: the Flow is not active, the source account cannot return the review, the rule does not match, or the destination authorization or ownership changed. Check them in that order.

Follow these steps

Complete the workflow, then verify it

  1. 1

    Check the Flow state

Open the dashboard and confirm the Flow is saved and active. Review whether the workspace is in trial, paid, blocked, or waiting for a billing action.

  2. 2

Check the source account and app

Confirm the connected App Store or Google Play account still has access to the selected listing. Reconnect it if authorization expired or the app moved.

  3. 3

    Check the rule match

Review star, keyword, locale, translation, and schedule filters. A valid review will not arrive if it does not match the selected notification or report scope.

  4. 4

    Check the destination

Confirm Slack channel access, Zendesk or Freshdesk account, Teams destination, or email address. Ask the destination owner to check the correct channel, queue, or inbox.

  5. 5

Send a test alert and contact support

Send a test after correcting the smallest issue. If it still fails, contact ReviewBot with the workspace, Flow, source, destination, and approximate time—never include passwords or payment details.

Quick checklist

  • The Flow is active and allowed by billing.
  • The source account can access the app listing.
  • The review matches the selected rules.
  • The destination owner checked the right place.

If something does not work

The test alert works but real reviews do not+

Compare the real review’s rating, language, locale, keywords, and source app with the Flow rules. Use a broader temporary rule only when someone owns the extra volume.

Only one destination stopped receiving alerts+

Check that destination’s authorization and access first. Do not rebuild the whole Flow until the individual integration has been tested.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly should a review alert arrive?+

Delivery depends on the source and the Flow configuration. Use the test alert to verify the destination immediately, then contact support if real matching reviews consistently do not arrive.

What should I include in a support request?+

Include the workspace email, Flow name, source app, destination, rule summary, and approximate time. Exclude passwords, card data, and private customer details.
