Get started
Connect your Webex conversation.
Have your Webex account and ReviewBot account ready. An active ReviewBot trial or paid plan is required for review delivery.
Open Webex setupAdd ReviewBot in Webex
Add reviewbot-io@webex.bot to the space where you want reviews, or start a direct message with that address. If direct-message search shows “Invite” for this exact address, select it to open the bot conversation.
Ask for a connection code
In a space, mention ReviewBot and send
connect. In a direct message, just sendconnect. ReviewBot sends you a private, single-use code that expires after 10 minutes.Connect the destination
Sign in to ReviewBot and open Webex setup. Paste the private code to connect the conversation. Keep the code private; it grants access to send review alerts to that destination.
Choose an app and turn on alerts
Create a review-notification Flow, select an App Store or Google Play listing, choose your star-rating and locale filters, and select the connected Webex destination. Save the Flow and check that its setup message arrives in the intended conversation.
Setup and everyday use
What do I need to get started?
You need a Webex account with permission to add the bot, plus a ReviewBot account with an active trial or paid plan. Your organization’s Webex administrator may restrict bots.
What does it cost?
ReviewBot offers a 14-day trial without a credit card. Continued review delivery requires a paid plan. One Flow connects one store listing to one destination; see Pricing for current plans and optional add-ons.
Which reviews are delivered?
The integration delivers matching new and updated App Store and Google Play reviews, including ratings, review text, author, date, available locale details, and links to view the review. Choose star ratings and a country or language in the Flow.
Can I reply or receive status reports in Webex?
Webex supports review notifications. It does not send scheduled status reports or post replies to app stores from a Webex conversation. Use the review links to continue your workflow.
My connection code expired. What should I do?
Send connect again and use the new code within 10 minutes. Each code works once. In a group space, mention ReviewBot with the command and check your direct messages for the code.
The bot does not respond or a setup message is missing.
Confirm you added reviewbot-io@webex.bot, and mention it when sending commands in a group. Check that the bot is still in the destination, the Flow is active, and your trial or plan is active. Send help to the bot for setup instructions, or contact ReviewBot support.
How do I stop alerts or change the destination?
Pause or delete the Flow in ReviewBot to stop its alerts. Removing the bot from a group space also prevents delivery there. Use a fresh code from the same conversation to reconnect it; create a new connection for a different conversation. Removing a bot does not cancel a subscription; manage billing in ReviewBot.
