Connect Webex to ReviewBot

Bring app reviews into the Webex conversation your team already uses. Add ReviewBot, connect the conversation, and choose which reviews to receive. You need permission to add bots in Webex and an active ReviewBot trial or paid plan.

Follow these steps

Complete the workflow, then verify it

  1. 1

    Add ReviewBot to your conversation

Find ReviewBot in Webex App Hub, or add reviewbot-io@webex.bot to the space where your team wants reviews. You can also start a direct message with that exact address. If Webex shows Invite for the bot address, select it to open the conversation.

  2. 2

    Request a private connection code

In a group space, mention ReviewBot and send connect. In a direct message, send connect without a mention. ReviewBot sends the requester a private, single-use code that expires after 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Connect the destination in ReviewBot

Sign in to the ReviewBot workspace that should manage these alerts. Open Webex setup using the button below and enter the code. Keep the code private because it authorizes review delivery to that conversation.

  4. 4

Choose the app and review filters

Create a review-notification Flow. Select your App Store or Google Play listing, choose the star ratings and country or language to monitor, then select the connected Webex destination. Each Flow connects one store listing to one destination.

  5. 5

    Save and check delivery

Save the Flow and check that its setup message arrives in the intended conversation. Matching new and updated reviews arrive when ReviewBot collects them. The setup message checks the connection; it does not import historical reviews.

Quick checklist

  • ReviewBot is in the intended Webex conversation.
  • The Flow uses the correct store listing, ratings, and locale.
  • The setup message arrived in Webex.
  • The Flow and ReviewBot trial or paid plan are active.

If something does not work

The bot does not respond to connect+

Confirm the address is reviewbot-io@webex.bot. Mention ReviewBot when sending a command in a group space, then check your direct messages for the private code. If your organization blocks bots, ask your Webex administrator to allow ReviewBot.

The code expired or has already been used+

Send connect again in the conversation you want to link. Enter the new code within 10 minutes. Each code can be used only once; do not share it or include it in a support request.

The setup message is missing+

Check that ReviewBot is still in the destination, the Flow is active, and your trial or plan is active. Reconnect the same conversation with a fresh code if needed. Contact support with the Flow name and approximate setup time if delivery still fails.

Setup worked, but no reviews have arrived+

Check the selected app and filters. ReviewBot sends matching new and updated reviews as they are collected, rather than importing the listing’s full review history. A successful setup message does not mean a matching new review is already available.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reply to reviews directly in Webex?+

Webex supports review alerts and links to view the reviews. It does not publish app-store replies from the conversation.

Can I receive scheduled review reports in Webex?+

Webex currently supports review notifications. Choose a supported report destination separately if your team also needs scheduled rating summaries.

Can I send iOS and Android reviews to the same space?+

Yes. Create one Flow for the App Store listing and another for the Google Play listing, using the same connected Webex destination.

How do I stop alerts or change the destination?+

Pause or delete the Flow in ReviewBot to stop its alerts. Removing the bot from a group space also prevents delivery there. Use a fresh connection code for the new conversation when changing destinations. Removing the bot does not cancel a subscription; manage billing separately in ReviewBot.
