Follow these steps
Complete the workflow, then verify it
- 1
Save a complete Flow
Confirm the task, public listing, destination and supported settings, then save. The current Flow menu offers Edit, Manage connection and Delete.
- 2
Find the setup message
Open the selected destination and look for the ReviewBot introduction. For Slack notifications it says review notifications have been enabled for the selected app.
- 3
Understand what this proves
The introduction checks the destination connection. It does not contain a complete customer review or prove that a new review has matched the selected filters.
- 4
Check a naturally arriving review
When a new matching public review becomes available, inspect its rating, text, source and available link/context in the destination. Do not post fabricated store reviews to test delivery.
- 5
Investigate a missing handoff
Check billing state, selected listing, star ratings and scope, then reconnect the destination if needed. Editing and saving can send a setup message again, so coordinate with the destination owner. Contact support if the message still fails.
Quick checklist
- ✓Flow saved successfully.
- ✓Setup message in the intended destination.
- ✓New review receipt tracked separately.
If something does not work
Where is Send test alert?+
There is no separate button by that name in the current Flow menu. Saving triggers setup delivery.
Setup arrives but no review does+
Check source availability, whether the review is new, and the selected star ratings/country or language. A setup message does not exercise those conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Will saving backfill every older review?+
Do not use historical backfill as the success criterion. This guide verifies setup and then a new matching review. Ask support about a specific historical review if needed.
Does this validate scheduled reports?+
No. A report Flow’s actual scheduled delivery and source-data availability must be checked separately.
