Connect Zendesk for app review triage

Enter your Zendesk subdomain and authorize ReviewBot so selected app reviews can become support work.

Updated August 1, 2026 · ReviewBot Help Center

Follow these steps

Complete the workflow, then verify it

  1. 1

    Choose Zendesk

In a notification Flow, select Zendesk as the integration and add the account.

  2. 2

    Enter the subdomain

For https://example.zendesk.com, enter example in Zendesk subdomain. Continue to Zendesk authorization and approve access using an appropriate account.

  3. 3

    Return and select the connection

Return to the same ReviewBot workspace and complete the destination selection. Configure star ratings and one country or language.

  4. 4

    Save and check setup

Saving a Flow sends a setup/introduction message to its destination. This confirms the connection; it is not a sample customer review. Check a naturally arriving matching review separately. There is no separate Send test alert button in the current Flow menu.

  5. 5

    Verify a real support handoff

When a new matching review arrives, have an agent inspect the created item and available source context. Configure assignment and internal ownership in Zendesk. Direct public replies require the separate Reply-to-Review setup and an eligible store account.

Quick checklist

  • Correct subdomain used.
  • Zendesk authorization completed.
  • Saved destination checked.
  • A support owner is assigned.

If something does not work

Authorization fails+

Check the subdomain and your Zendesk access, then reconnect. Do not paste credentials into a support message.

Unexpected tickets+

Review duplicate Flows and star-rating scope. Topic classification and ticket ownership are handled by your team or Zendesk rules.

Frequently asked questions

Does every review need a ticket?+
