Follow these steps
Complete the workflow, then verify it
- 1
Choose Slack
Create or edit a notification Flow and select Slack as the integration.
- 2
Authorize the workspace
Choose Add account. In Slack, check the workspace and requested access, then approve and return to ReviewBot. If your workspace requires app approval, its administrator must complete that process.
- 3
Choose the channel
Select the destination channel from the available channels. Confirm the authorizing user and app can access it; check private-channel membership when relevant.
- 4
Set rules and save
Choose the star ratings and country or language, review optional add-ons, and save the Flow.
- 5
Verify the two different outcomes
Saving a Flow sends a setup/introduction message to its destination. This confirms the connection; it is not a sample customer review. Check a naturally arriving matching review separately. There is no separate Send test alert button in the current Flow menu. In the September 8, 2026 production check, a public App Store listing, Slack authorization, saved Flow and introduction delivery succeeded; that check did not wait for a naturally arriving review.
Quick checklist
- ✓Correct Slack workspace selected.
- ✓Channel accessible.
- ✓Flow saved.
- ✓Setup message appears in the expected channel.
If something does not work
No channel is available+
Check workspace selection and channel access. Use Manage connection to reconnect Slack and return to the same ReviewBot account.
Too many reviews+
Edit the star ratings and scope, or create a separate report Flow for scheduled summaries.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use multiple Slack channels?+
Yes. Each listing-to-channel route uses its own Flow.
Does reconnecting require a new Flow?+
Use the existing Flow’s Manage connection action. Check its destination and setup delivery afterward.
