Follow these steps
Complete the workflow, then verify it
- 1
Start a review-alert Flow
In your ReviewBot workspace, choose New Flow, then Review alerts. Add a source and choose Google Business Profile.
- 2
Connect the correct Google account
Choose the Google connection option and sign in with an account that owns or manages the business. Grant the requested Business Profile access. Google’s permission includes managing business information; connecting alone does not edit your listing or publish a reply.
- 3
Select the business location
Return to ReviewBot and choose the eligible location you want to monitor. Check its name and address before continuing. Create separate Flows for separate locations.
- 4
Choose the ratings and destination
Select the star ratings to deliver and a connected destination, such as Slack, Zendesk, Microsoft Teams, or email. Google Business reviews are delivered in their original language; scheduled rating reports and automatic translation are not available for this source.
- 5
Turn on the Flow and check delivery
Review the location, destination, and price before turning on the Flow. Check the setup delivery in your chosen destination. Matching new and updated reviews arrive as they are collected; setup does not bulk-send historical reviews.
Enable replies when your team is ready
Open the Flow’s Reply-to-Review setup and enable it on a compatible Flow. ReviewBot can reuse the Google Business connection for that location, then checks whether it can publish replies. The add-on costs $10/month per enabled Flow, billed annually at $120, in addition to the monitoring Flow.
Use Slack, Zendesk, email, or the ReviewBot dashboard to submit an eligible response. Your team writes each response. Google may moderate it before publication, and ReviewBot shows the returned status. A review with an existing Google reply is not overwritten; edit that reply in Google Business Profile.
One account, multiple locations
You can reuse a Google connection for locations that account manages. Each location and destination pair uses a separate Flow, so different teams can receive different locations or ratings.
Quick checklist
- ✓The connected Google account owns or manages the location.
- ✓The Flow shows the intended business name and address.
- ✓The selected ratings and destination match the team’s needs.
- ✓Setup delivery succeeded and the Flow is active.
If something does not work
My business does not appear+
Confirm you chose the correct Google account and that it owns or manages the location. Check Business Profile access and location eligibility in Google. If access recently changed, reconnect and try again.
Google access was revoked or expired+
Reconnect Google from your workspace, grant the requested permissions, and verify the location again. Check affected Flows after reconnecting.
I cannot enable replies+
Use a compatible review-alert Flow, verify the connected account can reply for that exact location, and check the Reply-to-Review setup status. Teams, Google Chat, and Webex conversations do not publish Google review replies.
A response is pending or already exists+
Google may review new responses before they appear publicly. Check the status in ReviewBot and Google Business Profile. Edit an existing response in Google instead of submitting a second reply.
Frequently asked questions
Does each customer need Google API approval?+
No. ReviewBot maintains API access. Customers authorize their own Google account and select a location it manages.
Can I monitor a competitor’s location?+
This connection requires owner or manager access to the location. It is not a public-location scraping workflow.
Will connecting change my Google listing?+
Connecting and creating a review-alert Flow do not edit the business listing or post a reply. A public response is submitted only when an authorized user uses an enabled reply workflow.
