Connect ReviewBot to HubSpot

Early access is being prepared; general installation and the Marketplace listing are not available yet. This guide describes the native review-to-ticket workflow for enabled workspaces. Contact support to confirm availability before starting.

Follow these steps

Complete the workflow, then verify it

  1. 1

    Confirm access and prerequisites

You need ReviewBot workspace admin access, an active trial or plan that supports your Flow, and permission to install apps in HubSpot. Your HubSpot account needs tickets and a pipeline with an open stage. Confirm pilot access and account compatibility with ReviewBot support.

  2. 2

    Connect the correct HubSpot account

In an enabled ReviewBot workspace, choose HubSpot as the destination when creating a review Flow and add an account. Choose the intended HubSpot account, review the requested permissions, and authorize ReviewBot.

  3. 3

    Link your ReviewBot workspace

If prompted, sign in to ReviewBot or create an account. Check the workspace name, then select Connect to this workspace. Complete this within 30 minutes or restart the connection. One HubSpot account can be linked to one ReviewBot workspace at a time.

  4. 4

    Choose ticket routing

Select Load ticket pipelines, choose a pipeline and an open initial stage, then select Save ticket routing. All Flows using this connection share that routing. Changes apply to future tickets and do not move existing tickets.

  5. 5

Create and verify a review Flow

Choose Create a review Flow, select a source listing and the connected HubSpot account, and set ratings and locale filters. Save the Flow and check HubSpot for a ticket whose title contains ReviewBot connection test. The sample verifies delivery; it is not a customer review. New matching reviews create separate tickets when ReviewBot scans the source.

What data is shared

ReviewBot sends the app name and store, rating, review title and text, and available public reviewer name, version, review date, locale, and review link into the ticket subject and description. A ReviewBot delivery reference identifies the review for duplicate prevention.

ReviewBot reads ticket pipelines and stages to configure routing, reads account identity during authorization, and stores returned ticket IDs for delivery tracking. It does not import contacts, companies, or deals.

The authorization requests account metadata access, ticket creation access (crm.objects.tickets.write), and ticket schema access (crm.schemas.tickets.read). HubSpot may describe the write permission more broadly, including ticket deletion; this integration creates tickets and does not delete your tickets.

Disconnect or uninstall

Deactivate the Flows using the HubSpot connection, then delete that connection from ReviewBot’s connected accounts. ReviewBot revokes authorization and removes the saved connection credentials. If disconnect reports an error, retry or contact support. A delivery already in progress may complete.

To uninstall from HubSpot, open Settings, then Integrations and Connected Apps. Select ReviewBot and use the uninstall action. Also deactivate the related ReviewBot Flows. Reconnect to resume delivery later.

Existing HubSpot tickets remain after disconnecting or uninstalling. Manage or delete them in HubSpot. Disconnecting does not cancel a ReviewBot subscription; manage billing separately. Contact support for ReviewBot data-deletion requests.

Quick checklist

  • The intended HubSpot account is linked to the correct ReviewBot workspace.
  • A pipeline and an open initial stage are saved.
  • The Flow uses the intended listing, ratings, and locale.
  • The sample ticket appears in the selected pipeline and stage.

If something does not work

HubSpot is missing from the destination list+

The integration is not generally available yet. Contact support to check access for your workspace.

Authorization expired or was cancelled+

Start Connect HubSpot again and complete setup in the same browser. Ask a ReviewBot workspace admin to finish linking if you lack permission.

The account is already linked elsewhere+

Disconnect it from the existing ReviewBot workspace before linking a different workspace.

No open ticket stages appear+

Choose another pipeline or add an open stage in HubSpot, then load the pipelines again.

The connection test or new tickets are missing+

Check that the Flow is active, routing is saved, the plan is active, and new reviews match the filters. If the connection has an authorization error, choose Reconnect HubSpot and select the same account. For an unknown delivery outcome, contact support with the Flow and review details so the ticket reference can be checked before retrying.

Frequently asked questions

Do ticket replies reach the app store?+

No. HubSpot ticket replies and status changes are not synchronized to the app store. Use an eligible ReviewBot reply workflow or the original store to publish a public reply.

What happens if two Flows match the same review?+

ReviewBot creates one ticket for a review delivered to the same connected HubSpot account. Edited reviews do not update an existing ticket.

Is HubSpot included in every ReviewBot plan?+

General availability and pilot account compatibility are still being finalized. Confirm eligibility with support before purchasing a plan specifically for HubSpot. ReviewBot charges by Flow; an additional route can require another Flow.
