What to capture
Keep the review text, rating, date, source, locale, and show or episode context together. A headline score cannot explain whether listeners are asking for a topic, reporting a playback issue, or reacting to the format.
- Separate production problems from editorial requests.
- Keep regional or language patterns visible.
- Link each alert back to the original review.
Turn listener feedback into an owner
Route urgent issues to the support or production channel and send recurring themes to the person who can change the show. A weekly report is often enough for trends; real-time alerts are better for broken feeds or sensitive issues.
Measure the response loop
Track time to awareness, themes that repeat, and changes made after feedback. The goal is not to answer every review—it is to make important listener signals easy to see and act on.
A simple weekly listener review
Once a week, select a few representative reviews, group them into production, editorial, and audience-experience themes, and assign one owner per theme. This gives hosts and producers a decision-ready summary without pretending that every review needs a reply.
- One positive signal worth repeating.
- One recurring friction point to investigate.
- One change to revisit in the next report.
